Here is my legs workout routne
6ft4 272lbs

1.Leg extension 5 set 12 reps 170Lbs
2.Lying down leg curls 5 sets 12 reps 150Lbs
3.Barbell standing squats 4 sets 10 reps 315Lbs
4.Hack machine squats 3 sets 8 reps 450Lbs
5. Leg press machine 2 sets 10 reps 700Lbs

Now when im done i have a great pump im my legs
but why is it that my upper body has a awesome pump aswell ?
what the chemistry behide this ?

Just like with squats, I have a love\hate relationship with that sick feeling!

Exactly Blue, Plus the rest of your body is being used as "stabilizer muscles"....even Isometric hold require increased blood flow to the muscle. Remember when all the "old school" guys always calls squats a total body exercise.?.....

By the way Tweb, I also take the volume approach to leg training like you do, Keep it up bro
 
Also you hitting legs hard will increase test production as well as gh production causing full body growth...maybe lower some of the reps from 10 to 8 and raise weight a little bit shock the body.
 
mine are growing from

pre-exhaust hams with curls 3x8
BB squats 3x5
standing bb calf raise 1x20
Leg press 1x30-50 no lockout
