Hey does anyone have any idea about doing cardio after training legs! It seems whenever I do this my legs look small for some reason? My question is I trained legs 2 days ago, does anyone think it would have a negative impact on my leg growth if I went and did cardio today??? I usually do the eliptical machine. Also are there any machines that are better for keeping leg size?? I hear stairs will hinder your teardrops on your quads. Does anyone know anything about this???????????????????

how about using the old Shwinn bikes with the arm exerciser.

I have used them to 'save' my legs.

This is a loaded question. There really is no right way to answer it. Depending on your goals, cardio is an effective way to really shred the ol' quads. Stairs, when done correctly, can bring out the teardrops. There are too many factors to consider. If you included more info about training, diet, goals, supplements, etc... more people would be able to help you.

I cant do bike or stair master, my legs comes small.
I only do treadmil (walking in low intensity) to get a faster metabolism twice a week.
Your legs looks small becouse they get overtrained, to much work for your leggs or to much work for a legg day, and is to much time training leggs and then do cardio after your workout.

yeah , like big heinz said , whenever i try to step up intensity and run or something , i lose size in my quads , just walking works for me .
anyway , i dont see any good coming out from prolonging the time to down a shake , keep ur cardio session apart from ur weight training session .

I wanted to add this one thing...

two summers ago, I started biking 2-4 x a week for at least an hour per session. My legs didn't get any smaller, but my quads leaned out real nice (giving the illusion of growth), and my calves separated. I was probably only about 165 (5'7) at that time though. If I tried this now, I'd do high intensity interval cardio 2x per week for 30 mins, as far away from leg day as possible.

As far as doing cardio immediately after training legs, that would be a definite negative. But don't tell that to Tom Platz. :D

I should have been more specific! I was talking about doing cardio the day after doing legs! Also big h you do cardio by walking on a treadmill twice a week? How long do you go for??? I usually walk my dog for 3x week for about 2 miles each1 Do you think that would be enough cardio??
