Totally different levels during the same era.

In fairness to Lou he is not flexing and he is standing next to the best set of developed legs ever bar none. But everytime I see that pic I can picture Lou saying WTF I quit training legs.

For me, a taller guy who has trouble getting thick legs. This level of thickness is mind boggling!

YIKES! But wasnt Lou finished competing in that pic? I mean even at Lou's best his legs werent gonna hold up to Toms but then again, not many pros today could either.

And they were built from this....legs were easily his weak point in the beginnning!

Platz, Demayo, Coleman, Warren, Green... hard to say...

Well, if you're this strong, its gunna show!

It's hard to argue that Platz didnt have the best leg development of all-time. Freaky genetics and brutal training sessions.

I was a huge Platz fan back in the 80's.

Yea, Louie was retired and never had great legs even when he was competing. Not many did back in his day.

It kind of makes me wonder...Platz has the best legs ever, but he didn't even compete with the advancements in pharmacology and knowledge we have today.... Just imagine what he would have looked like if you took everything he did then and optimized it with today's best practices and PEDs...OH MY....

I agree with the 1st two for sure. PLATZ set the standard and DEMAYO followed the same plan. Both had amazing leg developement.
I wouldn't want to be the judge between those two at their best. I wouldn't want to judge any of these guys at their best. All unreal.

Thanks for the motivation. I need to focus on legs. I want that symmetry
