Is it a bad combo to be using a statin and running 250 mg test per week? Does it block the gears effectiveness? appreciate any insight

No not at all. In fact LDL often rises and HDL drops on AAS so the statin can be very helpful. I was on Lipitor for years but switched to pravastatin or whatever its called

Are you taking this statin to maintain your LDL's at a certain level?

If so then the test will have negative effect. Test increases choleterol, you may have to up your dose of Statins to counteract the negative effect of the juice.

Speaking to your cardiologist also could be problematic. Ive heard that some insurance plans can discontinue benefits if they find out your using juice.
