I am taking 10mg lisinopril and a beta blocker. I only had the cough when taking with 150mg tren EOD. Just kidding. No cough. If I could stop one it would be the beta blocker as I have a feeling it has slowed down my memory just a bit. Also it takes me longer to react to certain situations like seeing a snake on the trail while I walk my dogs! I think it blocks a fair amount of the "flight/fight" hormones.
ACE inhibitors protect the kidney only from increased hydrostatic or oncotic pressure across the glomerulus (filter). It relaxes (dilates) the vessels leaving the kidney so it can relieve pressure on the ones coming to it...therefore less chance of "busting" the filter. Similarly it allows glucose to pass through the kidneys vessels without being filtered...because when it is filtered it takes water with it and the increased pressure also can "bust" the filter even without high blood pressure. It will not protect you from Tren or compounds intrinsically toxic to the kidneys.
