Okay, so I got alot of great advice and did the following:
drew blood last week and here's where my lipids came back at:
Total: 203
Triglycerides: 104
HDL: 30
LDL: 152
VLDL: 21
I had tested about 6 weeks ago and the numbers have hardly budged with the exception that my Triglycerides went up and my LDL came down about 8 pts. I'm not on any gear, so I'm a little dissappointed my numbers are not in range. Advice is really appreciated, anyone got any ideas?
- added in 45 minutes of cardio 2x per week.
- dropped Lipitor.
- Added in 1.5 grams of niacin.
- Steel cut oats 1/4 cup 2x daily.
- 2 grams fish oil daily.
- Little red wine here and there, I hate drinking though.
