Start slow to get a feeling for the motions, even if it's no weight standing on your toes. Go through the whole range of motion and into a decent stretch, and keep reps lower. I never go above 8 reps on calves.

And mine always hurt like hell the first couple of sets, they feel like they're going to start cramping and are all knotted up but after a few real light warm ups and I can really get into them.

I'd also play around with foot placement, toes pointed in and toes pointed out and try to get that connection of feeling things work.

Our calves get so much work on a daily basis I think most people, myself included, have a hard time feeling things work correctly.

Almost all of my calf movements are done with a 3 sec count up, 3 hold at the top and 3 down. Forces you to control the weight. Really kills the ol’ Ego haha

I just can't feel anything in my medial heads.
 
Play around with toe position a bit and see if that helps.

You ever get Active release done or see a chiro? Could be a bit of a nerve impingement issue or the muscle itself locked down. That happens to me with my left lat, it gets all bound up and just doesn't contract right. A round of active release and I'm all good again.

comments:

ditched the floor press, decided it was too risky for a pec tear (lol im such a pussy)

cable laterals felt great. the 30 second isometric hold at the end burned like hell. i feel that doing these will go a long way in helping someone develop mind-muscle connection.

upright row - these were done with a shoulder-width grip so they didn't bother anything. they felt surprisingly good, so i think i'll be keeping them in for now.

PJR pullover - these felt incredible in the lazy head. i did them lying parallel on a flat bench. i was scooted up on the bench, so that the dumbbell would hit the bench, and not continue downward as in a traditional pullover. This allowed me to focus all of my attention on using my triceps instead of my lats/chest, and burned like a Mfer... my triceps are still aching and i can already tell the DOMS is going to be a bitch.


TGC anadrol made me full as fuck today... was insane. got more looks and comments than usual.. and the older hispanic women were pointing and giggling.

my training partner couldnt believe how swollen my shoulders got.


decided that im gonna get the full-face cpap mask.. i aint playing around anymore.

everything felt solid. strength was great... but the reps just weren't there, so i wanted to increase TUT by doing slow negatives, cheat reps to slow negatives (on safer movements), and statics holds.

the 4pps on the glute smith squat (wide stance squat) kinda banged up my right knee... not a new feeling, but it slowed things down a bit as i needed to stretch and massage things a bit

im probably gonna drop back extensions from my back day - as the smith squats left my lower back feeling toasted.




abs felt good, glutes felt good.


i know volume looks low af... but im gonna be training legs again here in a few days, so i can't go too crazy.


tommorrow is rest day.. which ive actually been looking forward to lol

-cable laterals felt great.
-cable upright rows felt better than barbells
-im really liking the static holds.. really helps to feel the muscle working

liquid anadrol is excellent. strength and pumps were pretty amazing tbh.. and ive used a lot of gear from different suppliers :eek: so that's saying something
