This board is the best place for getting usable info.

I think this forum is known as the place to go for nonbullshit info.

It is not filled with a lot of stuff like "Just did my first Delt shot"

"I have 10ml of Test Ent how should I take it"

BUT it seems lately there are more and more posts that really don't have to do with AS directly.

NOT saying these post should be deleted just suggesting a seperate area for them.


There are PLENTY of boards with so many nonessential posts where if you miss a day you have to search through 2 pages of posts to find the thread you wanted to follow.

How about adding a section for these kinds of posts.

Just a thought.

I make a few off topic posts just to liven the place up a bit sometimes it can get a bit mundane when an entire board tries to be serious or mad scientists. It's like you said there are other boards to make wayyyyyyyyyyy off topic posts like a porn thread which I don't think is a legit thread but some I make are related to a degree like pecker head trainers.

I know what you mean Crowler. That will be Big A's decision. There are some "off topic" posts as I've probably posted same as has fathead but these are more or less related to bodybuilding.

I believe we have a good medium here. I'm afaraid if we had a "real off topic" forum you'll draw in the rip-rap and before you know it, they're everywhere I would rather Big A set up a forum for "Contest Prep" as many bros are interested in this topic and new people come here seeking this type of info. We have A TON of members with the knowledge to contribute!

i have to agree with xcel and fathead, i've seen alot of boards have their "off topic" posts and its just full of sh*t. not even worth going thru, i feel that even the off topic posts here still brings the brotherhood tighter and makes even more people contribute to the forum, IMO anyway.

I like the board as is. But always room for ideas. There is some off topic stuff-just the right (small) amount. And I wouldnt see alot of use in a section for contest prep since the board is heavy on that topic anyways-and thats one of its distinguishing assets!

Ok seems like most people feel there isn't doesn't seem to be the need for an off topic area.

Perhaps when the board increases in traffic it might be a good idea.

Like Wannabe large said the CRAP goes into the off topic area. This was kind of my point. There seem to be an increase in CRAP threads in just the past few days that would be nice to have moved out of the more serious area.

Do we really want that kind of traffic here. I really like this place and don't really want it trashed by a swarm of lame ass's. I don't know, I just don't want to see the integrity of such a great place drop.
