how many of you guy use milk in your diet when you are bulking?i read gavin kanes bulking artic and he recomends a lot of milk for the extra cals and prot
cut the milk esp in large amounts. It just doesnt digest well when you get older. I had a bloated stomach for about a year before I figured out milk was the culprit.
To avoid bloating and upset stomack I use free lactose milk, but attention, even without lactose, the sugar content it is pretty high. The wheyprotein is produce from milk. And some of them with no sugar at all . SynthePure has 0 sugars, if I am correct.
i go through about a gallon of whole milk a day. i use it in all my shakes and drink a shit load right before bed. milk is my favorite beverage next to water

not whole milk, but i try to get a gallon in a day of skim, now that its my busy season with work i might get a half a gallon but days off a gallon easily.
Skip has an absolutely scathing thread on milk over at intensemuscle.com. I was kinda amazed all the negative responses about milk on it. I drink milk extensively. Skim most of the time, 2% when seriously bulking, and none when I'm cutting. I drink up to a gallon a day when bulking, it tastes so damn good and is 10x more refreshing than water. My stomach size and bloat level doesn't change a hair when I'm on/off milk.
I would prefer raw milk, in it's natural form, but that's a no-no these days. I use to drink whole raw milk, 1/2 gallon a day back in the day and the gains I made in strength and size were incredible.
I was going to make a similar post about milk, I went a good year bbing w/o milk after reading a bunch of negitive info on it. But i decided to try it again like 2 months ago and ever since i cannot quit buying it, I have read that it will smooth you out from the lactose? I try to limit it and only have it in my oatmeal/ceral in the am, and sometimes in my PM shake to get me a little tired.
im hooked on this yoghurt with cereals + the milk in my shakes i down over a gallon/day easy...if i could not eat milk i would not know what to do in life ...alex
There was a long-ass thread about this on the ol' Fina forum. Milk is essential for "babys", which is the reason milk is in nature for. People in most countries outside the US do not consume nearly as much milk per capita as in the US - yes, there is a STRONG dairy lobby in the US. Many health issues in adults have been linked to Milk.
I prefer not to drink it (not that I don't like it 'cause I do) as it keeps me "smooth" looking. And - lactose is a di-sacarride (SIMPLE sugar).
