milk on carb up on CKD?

i know fruit is not ideal on ckd to get back in to keto, but heard the same about mik is this true?
 
your confusing the purpose of the carb up or re-feed.

it's not to help you get into ketosis faster. It's going to take you out of ketosis (if you do an actual refeed of carbs like most do).

hint: one good thing about fruit is it refills glycogen stores, and good source of micro nutrients you might not of getting from the prot/fat sources during the diet. Also it will help the acid/base displacement the keto places on your system.

And you should never go out of your way to drink pasteurized milk.

I prefer some thing simple as a pear/apple pre work out to kick out of ketosis, then carb up with high gi carbs PWO like malto dex, then use some thing like white rice/potato and tapper down w/ med gi carbs like brown rice/oats/yams..
 
think yall misunderstood, fruit during a one day carb up during a cKD makes it longer to deplete glycogen the next days to get back into keto, heard the same as milk? but im guessing not
