Monday Night-L.S.U. over O.S.U.

I'm going with L.S.U. -4 over Ohio State. I think it is a mismatch and would even echo many sentiments that they shouldn't even be in a championship game, but the BCS is what it is. Just wondering for the gamblers out there who is everyone picking and why?

LSU. I believe ohio state shouldnt even be in the game due to their weak schedule. I think USC or Georgia shoulda been in it. But I think it will be closer than people think even though LSU is a superior team, just because LSU's offense is kinda non explosive at times, and OSU's strength is their defense. I dont see OSU's offense getting anything on the LSU D though. I think LSU's overall talent will get them a win. -4 is a good call id say.

They can be mad all they want. The FACT is the SEC is more talented than ANY OTHER conference. FL lost to Michigan, however Michigan losing to Appy State and then by 30 points to Oregon is FAR worse than FL losing the bowl game to them.

LSU will win by 14 points or more and then OSU's record will go to 0-9 VS SEC teams..

I just wish they would go to some kind of damn playoff so a cindrella could win one year.

Well I'm not surprised as your from TN. The SEC has been a very good conference as of late but remember, schools like LSU, USC, Ohio State, Michigan, etc (in other words the dominant FB schools) recruit the same level players so to say LSU is that much superior is not true. Also when USC (Pak 10) has won the title, has the SEC been that dominant? And last year, it sure did not help Ohio State by not playing in almost two months. The game would of probably been much closer.

LSU may have a better O but Ohio State has a better D. Should be a great National Championship.

Lot of goings on around that game. But the bottom line of this game:
1. Game is in New Orleans
2. LSU is healthy
3. OSU big but slow.

Thats a funny acronym but true... Altho O.S. may be a bit slower than LSU you still gotta have wheels to compete at that level... Im a big fan of coach Jim Tressel from O.S. therefore im gonna take the 3 points LSU is laying to O.S. even tho they wont need it...

Georgia lost to Vanderbilt????? then spanked by Tenn? an they deserve a shot? How bout their SEC champ? oops nothing there. SmellSU lost 2 x this yr too, and luckily won other games. OSU was #1 for many weex this yr, I didnt think they would actually be there, but they r, speaks volumes for tressel and his program. 3 times since the yr 2000 that they r in the natl title game!! Im not running my mouth as I did last yr... damn gators... go blue!!!! least till nex season. People said that Miami was gonna run circles around them boys from the ohio in '02....

Not playing anybody OUTSIDE of OHIO is why they got BLOWN out by FL

The SEC is the best conference. what just floors me is when these commentators last year kept saying things like " Well lets see how angry OSU comes out in the 2nd half" "they can turn this score around in a hurry" hahaha...what a joke. They were out classed and will be this year too.

HOw many teams does OSU play in the state of OHIO, I read somewhere that it was 5,hahaha....monster scheduling

LSU has the advantage playing so close to home and being the underdog I am sure they have been hearing for weeks now about how hungry OSU is for revenge from last years ass beating they got.

michigan put a hurting on florida... lets not ferget about that game... I will agree and say that the SEC is a great conference but so is the pac 10... Big 10 is down this yr yet they still make it to the natl title game. I will say Tenn beat a good Wisconsin team but Michigan beat ur gracious heisman winner and former natl title team. LSU got some gifts this yr and should have lost more then 2 games. Lastly all Im hearing on tv is about LSU, LSU thats who is getting all the publicity... so be it so did miami in 02. This was suppose to be a rebuilding yr for OSU. Im happy and very surprised that they r back in the natl title game. LSU played LA tech and tulane... 2 very tough teams in the state of LA, then ventured out to play middle tennesee. Every team has its tune up games. OSU played Akron, Youngstown state, and Kent state... so ur 5 in state game play is incorrect. Gotta love SEC fans!!

USC is prolly the best team this yr. But they did lose 2 games... 1 to stanford. Like I said very very surprised and very happy OSU even made it back to this point. But still hoping the Nuts slap the pussy
