More trouble for homebrewers

I guess from what I can gather Research Lab Supply, an internet lab supply company, was shut down. Word has it that the law confiscated their computers and are targeting customers that ordered items in bulk hoping to catch UG labs.
Anyone have any more info on this? Confused as to how they could be shut down if its not illegal to sell the things they were selling. This was a person favorite of mine and now I must find a new site.

well, they were selling 'legal' research items, however, 'they' are intersted in the ppl who are buying large quantities of items. i have heard of one person already who got paid a visit by the FEDS inquiring about his order history.

Did they come with a search warrant? Wondering if ordering these supplies would be enough for a judge to issue a search warrant. I would think if the quanity was small, someone like myself ordering just for personal use, that one would not be issued.

Yeah, thats what I am thinking. There would be just too many Joe Shmoes ordering 10 vials and 100 ml of BA/oil. Wouldnt have the time to hit thousands of customers, just pick out the big ones. Quesion is what would the threshold be before they decide to pick on you, guess that would depend on the size of their average order.

they were looking for big fish.. personal orders are not really worth pursueing for them.. i still wonder what the motive was..? they were not doing anything illegal.. so what was the search warrent for..? really curious as to how it is worded..

no, from what i was told, no warrant, they asked to come in and look but they were not allowed. they just threw out a bunch of questions and went on their ways.

Thanks for the reply. I figured thats how it would go down. Justice system does work sometimes.
