My wife being the woderfull woman she is grabbed a case of the little ready to drink Muscle Milk "lite" ready to drink shakes from Sam's Monday , Well they don't exactly fit into my calorie needs other than breakfast so I'm not planning to drink then to fast.
My 5yr old has been non stop wanting one and after reading that they were lactose free I let him have one , he loves them. So i'm wondering if these would make for a decient part of a childs breakfast or mid day snack , they are only 100 cals and they seem like they would be WAY better than most shit kids want but i thought i'd ask and see if any of you guys had heard any reviews or had any details on the fats used and such , I know that they claim that the fats and carbs used are for "peakperformance" and don't lend themeslves to storing fat.

In my mind it seems like two of these a day would be a great supplememnt to an active kids diet , my little guy is5 yrs old , and about 60lbs and is wide open from the min he wakes till we put him to bed

here is the nutritional break down off of each little can

I would let him,
My daughter since the day she ate oatmeal even baby oatmeal we would out some whey in it...today she is about the healthiest kid in her school

something crazy..she is in 2nd grade...she takes her lunch to school everyday instead of eating the sheeple food they serve the kids...none of the kids know what bell peppers are....asparagus ....some asked her what was the green stuff that looked like trees? its really horrible man, then you walk into wal mart and wonder how we became a nation of pajama wearing fat fucking slobs.

She has a friend that she plays with...the daily routine is pick kids up from school and run to mcdonalds drive thru for after school hamburger and fries..WTF? just shoot your kid in the head and save um a life of poor heath and being a slob

sorry to rant...yea I think those are safe for your kid.

I would imagine that they are ok. MY three year old daughter loves to help me make my shakes and I give her a small cup of some as well, and she loves it. I also give pieces of things like balance bars and she those as well.

My 5 and 7 yr old drink these, periodically.

My 5 year loves the Strawberry/Banana Whey shakes that my wife makes in the morning. She also has about 1/2 a glass of one before her cheer practices.

My 7 year old boy will drink the myoplex likes its freaking candy.

We find them good for long drives or when a practice or an event gets the way of a regular meal. Yes, they still get whole foods, but instead of whipping together a grilled cheese and chips... they will get RTD and an apple.

Its perfect, because they do not require a "drink" also....

I mix alot of my whey into a thick paste and both my kids eat the hell out of it with fruit and some veggies , like when most people put peanut butter on apples my kids use my "whey dip" or " Choco-Snot" as they call it cause its sticky as all hell.

For the most part both my kids eat good , my daughter doesnt live with me but she has realy changed the way her whole family eats due to her wanting everybody to be healthy. My son goes to a private school and they actualy have a very healthy lunch program and the kids are "worked" into eating their veggies first. I'm very fortunate in that aspect but like Lex , by boy has some friends that bring their lunches because their parents don't believe it right to not let kids enjoy their food !!

anyhow , I guess we will try these out for breakfast for a while

kids love muscle milk...lol

my daughter is 8 yrs old and the girl is hooked on my muscle milk...
she says it tastes better than chocolate milk, and it's true.

get him banana. it's the best imo. btw is your son bulking? what kind of routine is he on? how much test?:D
