He looked fantastic. That's one thing about the 70's and 80's You could tell who these guys were a mile away, they all had their own distinct physiques with different features. Now a days these guys all look the pretty much the same. I think that started happening after the Coleman era.
That's why Mr. Olympia used to be shown on NBC and CBS, etc. Now it's on webcast.
During the early 1980s he was trained by Vince Gironda. 8x8, giant sets, etc. and switching workouts every 4 weeks. Very little rest between exercises. Ate almost no carbs.
I read an article in an old MuscleMag (70s) on his training. I remember that he did a 2 day split training 6 days a week, high volume, very little rest between sets. I remember his split was half his upperbody with quads on one day, the other upperbody parts with his hamstrings on the second day. I remember because i was amazed at how the bb's trained back in those days.
I would never know this Athlete, so I'm glad you posted this..awesome physique and the posing was so smooth and nice to watch.....he keeps you there wanting more....thats good stuff.
