My lifting schedule

Because of work and a family I am forced to lift in the am usually about 6am.. having a hard time as to what I should be taking or eating before and after.. i have just been doing a cup of coffee and a 50g protein shake then after Im unsure If I should take another shake or should I eat actual whole food!? Any suggestions
 
nothing before,if u need something to eat,i usually do a bowl of oatmeal.after i do 2 scoops protein with oatmeal peanutbutter mix all together .
 
Hey man, it's based on your goals, physique, and what are you trying to do. There are a ton of post similar to yours. Try a search you will find what your looking for.
 
I work out at 6a.m. also..ist thing 25 grams whey protein,then coffee and aspirin,pre workout supp,during workout supp,then at least 80carbs to spike insulin and 50-75 whey protein..then eat 1/2-1hr later..the faster your muscles receive nutrients post wkout the better. whole food takes to long to digest.

Unless you have extremely low levels of energy, I agree.
