henna is very popular in the middle east... real tattoos are frowned upon and some people usually do the temp tattoos with henna on their vacations or whatever just to see how it looks like...

having a permanent tattoo that covers your whole arm in the arab world? not a good idea...

as i said in an earlier post, i met a pro female bodybuilder in montreal a couple of weeks ago and she was very good friends with faoud... had nothing but great things to say about the dude! and the dude is a fucking monster!

although i don't hear about him much these days...

this is a great show that's very famous in the middle east... airs on the LBC channel... the title of the show is "side effects of hormones and proteins"... you linked the 8th part of that show where what the guy was talking about was pretty vague...
here's the first part just to see what the show is about

now... it started off making you think that this guy was using steroids... but it gets deeper and becomes an eye opener...

the guy was a competitive bodybuilder (not a high level amature, but had hopes and dreams) and he started using synthol... started saying that a famous guy in lebanon was getting it from england and selling it for $150 per 100 ml... he said he never saw problems and he only saw great results... then he found some guys selling it for $20 (exact same bottle and sticker and all), so he told his friend who he buys it from and he replied "i can't selling to you for anything less than $150) so he bought the $20 crap,.... turns out these are some dangerous people who counterfeit all kinds of drugs (not just bb drugs) and they actually put paraffin oil in there... so the guy and everyone who used it got a shit ton of infections and abcesses... then he talks about how his life turned into shit, how he goes from operation to operation, his wife left him, he doesn't have money and is buried in debt from all the operations... very sad and moving stuff... then he started talking about how these guys who counterfeit shit told him they were gonna hurt him badly if he talked about them and they offered him money not to go on the show... he said these guys are untouchable even by the government but he doesn't care anymore cuz he's been through so much because of them.

then they bring a sports doctor (very famous one in lebanon)... starts talking about how synthol use in bodybuilding is rampant (stated that more than 80% of bodybuilders use it regularly) and started talking about the history of synthol and how not many people get side effects from it or from steroid use... he then talked about how this is all because of the IFBB with their retarded judging, awarding the bigger guys and how this sport has become underground and how rediculous it's getting because everyone wants to look like a cartoon character.

they were talking about steroids and how they never heard of anyone getting side effects from them and all...
i'm up to part 6 now... pretty interesting stuff... thanks for the find!
