i have been dieting as of late, well my dieting, lol
my basic meals consist of the following
1 can tuna
3 chicken breasts
3/4c long grain brown rice
3/4lb red meat
broccoli/greenbeans
2 40g shakes with minimal carbs(<10g per shake)
abt a gallon of H2o a day, along with abt a gallon of equal sweetened kool aid, and various diet sodas

as far as supps go
2g vit C
15g glutamine
5g creatine
10g arginine
1 gnc ultra mega multi
eca supp
kyno
and im starting sust(1amp every 10 days)Eq(500mg homebrew) and winny in two weeks
also have some dnp in the works, dont advise against it, as im a seasoned used and know what im doing as most of u know

what im after with this post is
im taking a little time off powerlifting, concentrating more on football oriented lifting/conditioning, in this time, also eliminating as much bodyfat and possible swapping with LBM
would some form of HIT style be better than the reg pyramidding, like DCs training, i need to keep weights moderate and reps semi high for conditioning purposes.
i always hear abt DCs guys getting WAY leaner and their LBM going up, so its intriguing to me
let me know what u guys think

Equal makes A LOT of people bloat! I'd avoid it and sucralose, acesulfame, sweet n lo like the plague! If you need to drink something sweet use stevia as a sweetener - it won't make you go blind or give you piedoekee :) I like to make a bunch of tea and sweeten it with stevia to satisfy my sweet tooth.

It would seem like you'd need more carbs for your "football workouts." Either that or continually drink something with a carb like maltodextrin while your doing your footbal thing (complex carb - high glycemic index: pretty sure of this, MikeS knows - I don't use it).

What about adding Taurine and MSM? Both are cheap and good for you.

I like DC's program and don't think it could hurt. I'm sure others will comment on this.

Im gonna go ahead n agree with Xcel sayin ul def need more carbs one way or another for your workouts. Whats the point of dieting if ur not gonna have the energy for ur workouts, ul slack, drop muscle and bodyfat, where ud rather hold as much muscle as possible.

I like the taurine idea also since iv started it recently as an ingredient in my creatine, and helps focus and drive during workouts tramendously.

As far as training, i only know about how my body reacts to certain styles of training and i lack the experience to really advise urs. Honestly, if its that important, id Contact DC and get him to take you on. He will most definatly have you dropping bodyfat and gaining LBM as well as im sure he can put ur training on track for exactly what you want.

I dropped alot of BF

All I did was drop simple sugars from juices,fruits etc. and no starchy carbs.I ate pita or rye bread early in the day with meals,and really the only source of sugars was in the Celltech I would use post workout,which is prime time anyway.I did no cardio,so you will definetly get leaner then me with your football type workouts.I dropped more then 30 lbs,mostly fat and if you saw my pics way back when to now,you can see the difference.

I like to vary my training cycles.Although I did get very jacked and lean while running a DC type program.I think I looked my best when i was doing the DC.For the past 8 weeks I powerlifted with a PL friend of mine and noticed a huge jump in strength while staying lean.Now Im going back to a more bodybuilding type routine to gain more mass.Then back to DC. I think that is the trick,switch it up.But for what you want to do and since you came off of PL then do the DC,you will be very happy.His ideas work dude.You will look amazing........
