Very impressive. Looks like light weight going up and down. I kind of worried when I first saw this and his right leg kind of wiggled a little bit.
At his level this is unnecessary and incredibly dangerous! Ronnie’s back issue hell started with that heavy squat for 2 reps. And there’s Fux who had both knees fold backward from squatting like that. Good way to end a career.
I agree. When I was squatting heavy for me, I usually didn't go below 5 or 6 reps. How many did he do here? It looked like he could have managed that many maybe. Keeping the reps above 5 or 6 is important I think, but it still gets heavy on the joints. I suppose for bodybuilding it probably isn't necessary to go below 8 or 10 is it?
If you are natural, I would say yes, otherwise, no.
