New to carb depletion

Newbie diet question. When you carb deplete do you allow yourself only one carb up day? Or more than one during the week. I am already on a caloric deficit diet (2 weeks in) but I am looking to get extra lean for the summer so I started cutting my carbs this Monday and was going to carb up every 7th day. Does this sound okay? Sorry if this is a dumb question or should have been posted elsewhere.

your gonna get 100 different responses to this. are you doing the palumbo type keto diet? Higher fats during you low carb days? Whats you protein intake?

Dude like I said I am a newbie to hardcore dieting. I get pretty lean (10% bf caliper checked) by just eating less calories than I burn. I eat clean I get at least 1 g of protein per lb of body weight if not closer to 1.5 most days. I was just wanting to try something a little bit different to see if I could lean out more (drug free) so I thought I would play around with my carb intake.....

well im by no means an authority, but IMHO if you can get that lean with just a slight calorie deficiat, i personally would stick with whatever your doing thats working, then SLOWLY start to widdle away carbs until you keep losing fat. Again, thats just my humble opinion. Im a fairly newb too :D

The more carbs you have runnin through your body the better your workouts will be. I wouldnt go super low carb unless you have to to lose weight, which alot of guys do, like me! :p
 
Got ya! Its all an experiment for me.
 
i know many will differ with me but i don't see the point of carb depleting and then reloading except for getting the supercompensation so as to have a little more size on competition day.
