So I'm pretty lean right now as I just got done with a nice recomp 5 weeks ago and during that time I would have to get up and piss 3 -4 times a night I've got it down to 2-3 now but damn it's really annoying and disrupts my sleep I know being lean has a lot to do with it but does anyone have any tips on how to minimize this so actually sleep through the night maybe only get up and go once?

It may likely be in part to swollen prostate. Avodart or Proscar may help.

are you using stimulants and diuretics like Caffeine?

always makes me pee 2 to 5 times a night, last night peed every 90 min

Prostate is often an issue. One of the studies I I saw recently says people get up in the night because the fluid can be processed out of the legs easier once they are elevated to the same level as their kidneys.

Yeah I try to limit my caffeine intake but it's still there I usually cut it off by 2:30 though

How is your urination throughout the day compared to nocturnal frequencies?

How's your thirst? Normal or extremely thirsty throughout the day?

Durning any episodes of urination (day or night) do you have hesitancy to start, urgency-- like, "I gotta piss now, or I'm gunna piss myself", start and stop urinating, unable to empty your bladder type of symptoms? Any bladder or prostate pains?

Nocturnal urination can be from a wide variety of things. I would not hesitate to discuss this with your primary care provider. I would also consider asking your primary care provider about looking into a sleep study to rule out the possibility of sleep apnea. Nocturnal urination is very common with uncontrolled sleep apnea. With that said, an uncomfortable mattress that causes you to toss and turn throughout the night can also subject you to constantly roll over and place pressure on your bladder, thus waking you up to pee.

I would also highly recommend that you speak to your primary care provider to pull a chem panel. With those that have an over active bladder that also sweat (exercise) alot can set the stage for hyponatremia (low sodium levels).

Lastly, if everything comes back negative for BPH, UTI, Sleep apnea, ect. And this is persistent throughout the night. Speak with your primary care provider to screen you for Diabetes insipidus.

Good luck! Hopefully you can get this corrected sooner than later! Nothing worse than a crappy night of sleep!

I really don't feel it's prostate as I have no issues with having a hesitancy to go and also no pain in that area, I drink over a gallon and half of water a day so I'm going pretty consistently during the day.

However in the last few months my snoring has gotten horrendous, and I actually set up and appointment for a sleep study as I feel this could certainly be a possibility what other symptoms other than snoring should I be watching out for with sleep apnea?

Thanks Stewie!

Good that you are looking into the possibility of sleep apnea! This very well may be the cause of your nocturnal frequent urination?

Although, definitely discuss this with your primary care provider, tho. As it may be unrelated to OSA.

Uncontrolled sleep apnea can present itself with an array of symptoms, leading to mutifactorial detriments on our overall health.

Most commonly is headaches upon waking (that was one of my personal experiences before being treated for sleep apnea), not feeling fully rested upon waking, daytime fatigue, frequently taking short 10-20 minute +/- naps daily, lack of concentration (poor cognition), moody (easily agitated), hypertension. There's other symptoms, these are the more prominent one's.

Then there's certain blood markers that can help give indication there's uncontrolled sleep apnea present.

Definitely follow-through with your PCP on that sleep study!

Keep us updated!

I do various things to knock myself out... lol

good sleep is a mother fucker!
I usually get up to piss 2+ time sometime up to 5.

I rarely sleep for more then 4 hrs at a time which I know is a problem.

what stewie says is probably the most healthy intelligent option...

good sleep habits, melatonin and such help.

Could be a prostate issue. I would see a doc ASAP. Don't just let it go,,,at least have it checked.

daily low dose cialis helped when i was running mast and was up peeing 4-5 times/ night.

When I cut I have this problem as well I also drink a LOT more water and diet soda when I cut. It's really annoying and I know exactlyyyy how you feel! I can't stand it and never really found a solution. It seemed even when I cut out some water and tried to not drink as much I would still have the problem.

I have a similar issue where
I get up 3-5 times each night. I don't think it's prostate related because I piss a lot out. Anyway I also notice I look bloated and fat every night and lean as fuck every morning so I feel like I'm pissing out all that water weight each night.

I had the same issues. Back in November I did a sleep study. They stopped the testing 2 hours into the study because off the pause in my breathing patterns. They put the CPAP machine on me for the rest of the test. I'm now on the machine nightly and the quality of sleep and daytime energy if life changing. It took a little getting use to and some air adjustments, but best thing going when it comes to quality sleep! I get 8 hours or more of uninterrupted sleep.

I have similar issues... had 3 studies done. Last 2 show that I do not have apnea. I think they showed 3-4 interuptions per hour and the min for apnea is 5 or 6. Gone to urologist and unfortunately went through Urodynamics test (I pray you do not have to go through that...) Just starting to assume I will never get good sleep
