Ever since I started squatting my glutes and hams just seem to grow!Before I got sick last year I was going pretty heavy and now that I started them again my strength is going up fast.
Problem is Im relatively thick top to bottom so I want to minimize that look.Id like to keep the thickness in my upper body and quads,but eliminate the blocky look in the midsection.Having big glutes does not help.
What can I substitute for squats that will keep the focus on my quads and remove some mass from the rear,keeping everything tight and toned?
I started squatting with Ironman83 way back when so he taught me the powerlifting style which I still employ and am most comfortable with.I am just not built for narrow squatting like alot of guys I see.My flexibility does not allow it,so I need to go wide and I believe that is the problem.
How about hack squats or leq press?
