Ive been rethinking my training and I do believe that you must give eveerything to 1 set. I use to do rest/pause and I noticed that I would sort of split up my energy between the main and the R/P. I would give liike 80/20. Now I do as many as I can and do I negative and thats it. Well I was doing legs today and I cant do the negative. So I looked at my journal and decided I would set a numer in my head and do it, no matter what. My first exercise was the squat. Said I was go 10 and I did 10. At the 6rep I turned red and my eyes looked loke they where gonna pop out. I told myself that failure was not an option and I got to 10. Next was the leg presses. Loaded it up and said I was gonna do 15 reps. By the time I got to 10 I was tasting my throat. By the good grace of god I got to 15. Relaxed for a few, stood up and felt dazed, next thing you new, blaam, vomit all over the place!. It felt kind of good to know that I generated that kind of intensity! Relxaed for a few and did hack squats and went home.
