I currently use PEScience almost exclusively because I just like the flavors, digestion, etc. I also loved Beverly but gotdamn does it require some coin lol
PEScience
Way too many fillers in Muscle Tech brand. BSN Syntha 6 is the same crap.I'm not sure if i'd call it crap, but it really depends on what your expectations are....is it all whey iso,nope....but a blend of cheaper proteins. MT has always been about hype, and in the past a rip off in price. I would note that this is 4.5# and not 5#. Also, i'm not sure if MT still does this, but that's 4.6# of Protein + sweeteners and flavorings and preservatives. Places like TN give you the 4.6# of protein, then add the other stuff afterward. This MT option is not 4.6# of just protein. It states that it is 26g of protein per scoop, but if you notice, the scoop is much larger at 42g instead of the typical say...34g from TN equaling 25g of concentrate. They have to compensate by using a larger scoop to get nearly the same amount of protein. They probably go a little more on the calcium caseinate to bring the price down. All the other proteins, i'm fine with. The carbs may be a little high for some users depending on their goal(s). If you tolerate it well enough, it may not be a bad buy, but probably not ideal. If you were on a budget, then it could work seeing it's around $11'ish dollars/pound in wt.
I don't think they have all those proteins, but it would be interesting to see what the cost would come out to designing it over at TN's custom-build option. I don't think they have calcium caseinate though. Somebody correct me, but I believe the ON at Costco that goes on sale every Christmas is also a blend? My ex buys that for herself and likes it. I use TrueNutrition for myself and the kids.

Dymatize, Nutrobio, and a few select others are some of the best and purest wheys on the market.Dymatize and Optimum Nutrition stand head and shoulders above other companies because they're publicly traded (Post and Glanbia, respectively).
If either were caught doing anything shady with their protein the brand hit would be too much for them to take.
For those in Canada, Canadian Protein is a pretty quality brand, straightforward and simple. You can even get it at Costco here. Otherwise, Dymatize is always a great option. I appreciate that it’s got some hydrolyzed whey in there and the Fruity Pebbles flavor is delicious.
That man bun though…Just seen this and reminded me of this thread.
Dymatize iso 100 been on point foreverWhey has gone up, but so has meat. IMO it’s a little silly to look for the cheapest whey like a college kid if you’re doing fine enough financially to get the other proteins you want. You’re either swapping one for the other or using whey strategically for fast digestion. Either way, no point in giving yourself gas or gagging down something that tastes nasty.
I hate the inflation, too, but the price for a protein portion really isn’t that big a deal here.
And Dymatize iso 100 ftw lately. All of their flavors I’ve tried are good and it mixes really well.
I looked this one up, and I like the combo of milk protein isolate and whey.. and its actually at a competitive price... next time I need a casein/long lasting blend, im gonna try it out..I currently use PEScience almost exclusively because I just like the flavors, digestion, etc. I also loved Beverly but gotdamn does it require some coin lol
