Suposedly found dead in his N.Y. house this afternoon!!??? Early reports it's drug related?? Anyone hear anything?

there were just saying that pills were found strewn around the room.. too bad.. he was a great actor.. on a sarcastic note.. have ya noticed that the news just makes the mention of the drugs and not what kinds ect ect on these stars.. maybe congress should make studios that have actors under contract be tested..

there seesm to be alot of drug issues (more and more) all the time with these young stars.. yet.. not one word out of congress or the law period.. they claim that baseball players are role models and therefore held to a higher standard.. arent actors role models? yet held to much lower standards.. the hypocrisy in this country kills me..RIP HEATH..

CNN reported the pills seem to be over the counter sleeping medication... now that makes me wonder if it was not an accidental overdose. I hope I am wrong. RIP

good point, as far as I know you can't OD on steroids. Looking forward to seeing Batman movie, a shame it's his last and probably his most memorable film because of his death. He looks so sickly in these latest pics.

Unfortunately, you're 100% correct. It's exactly what I was trying to say when I post all of these articles pointing fingers at steroids while ignoring what alcohol does to the putrid minds of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britanny Spears, all driving drunk, all getting off easy, and all potentially killing people and facing bullshit or NO jailtime whatsoever.

Either way, this hits me kinda hard because I'm a huge batman fan, huge joker fan, and it's just horrible to see that this 28 year old young man is now gone because of poor choices he made in life in regards to drugs. He was about to become a mega-superstar internationally with this role in the Dark Knight, and too bad he wont get to reap the benefits that would have been afforded to him.

RIP, Heath.

How many actors is that that have O'Ded...hmmmmm...But I guess recreational drugs dont get polititians enough votes...

Shit I may sound a lil harsh considering he just died hours ago but damn I cant tell you how much it boggles my mind to see these actors and musicians who have the world in their hand just piss on it...while others can bust their ass in the real world and can still be happy and respect life...

Maybe it was just an ill reaction to the sleeping pills. I know i've depended on Ambien from time to time just to get some decent sleep so i cant criticize the man just yet until the autopsy comes out.

True, but also there have been plenty of people that because of their fame and money have gone on to help many others and it has made them very happy doing so. And it was soley because of their fame and money that they were able to help so many others were if they were poor and a no one they wouldn't have been able to.

So I do agree with you to a certain point. money has truely corrupted so many people. And fame has also made those with it (fame) forget their family, friends, and even where they came from. (just my .02 for whatever it's worth)

What comes to mind for me is it's very sad and he leaves behind a young daughter. If it was intentional I won't hold that against him. That decision is a permanent solution to a temporary problem and many people have been that down at some time. No matter the case I liked his acting and never saw any drama from his life like many younger actors/actresses. Happiness has nothing to do with posessions, money, or fame. It is a choice you make when you see how little those things matter. RIP Heath Ledger

I agree with you too. I was just thinking there are some sad people out there (assuming this was a suicide) and even when or if the achive great things they are never happy inside. I mean the guy was a great actor and proly had is pick of pussy , obviously got some cash....but maybe he was just still unhappy. Its a sad thing.
