O/T Horror movies

Anyone else a big fan? I've seen some oldies that I can never seem to find anyone that has seen them. They were mainly around late 80's early 90's. Im 25yrs old so they were scary as hell when I saw them. Here are a few I remember. Im dying to see if anyone else has seen them

my wife and i love horror movies!! i don't know why she does, she cries from the fear sometimes and she can't sleep at night, but she still watches them (nothing freaked her out like amityville horror)... but it seems like there aren't any good horror movies these days. Personally, i love these:

Silent Hill
Amityville horror
The ring
The grudge 2

a lot more but i can't remember

I remember seeing that when i was like 12. When I was younger I thought the Steven King stuff was scary. I remember watching Movie Bizarre that was a marathon of weird scary movies.

The Shining has to be at the top of most any list. That movie just sends chills down my spine when I watch it. Any of the zombie movies by George Romero are great (although Land of the Dead didn't quite do it for me). American Psycho is more suspense then it is horror, but I can stand to throw it on my list since Christian Bale is so badass in that movie.

Army of Darkness isnt really a horror movie, but its more along the lines of a cult classic that everyone should still see, Bruce Campbell at his finest.

How about: The Omen, Jaws, Halloween, The Exorcist, Poltergeist? Some great ones back in the 70s/early 80s. They dont make em like that anymore.

Poltergeist- I saw it way to young and has given me a permanent fear of clowns, what were my parents thinking letting me see it at 5 years old?

Halloween

The Halloween series are my all time favs, except for part 3. The new Rob Zombie version is great in my opinion.

Who can forget the horror of "Basket Case"! Belial was the perfect brother.

I was the most scared and disturbed with the Exorsist. And Aliens freaked me out as well. I dont like any of the recent gore type movies.
