MassiveG wrote an excellent post before about which order you should eat your food.
 
I had to think back to tha last few meals I ate , mostly the meat then the carbs.

My trainer has me eating few greens with my meals that contain carbs cause thay are early then the last couple have more greens and they get eaten last.
I had a steak last night at a restraunt and the waiter thought I was some kind of nutcase cause I diden't want the potato or fries just the salad but I wanted the salad after my steak.you would have thought I asked him to build a fucking castle for me.

After working with SuperD doing DC training and reading Massive G's articles and what Dante preaches I ALWAYS eat meats/fats then carbs. In short, (from what I understand) is it takes more energy to digest the proteins than carbs thus upping the caloric expendicture of your body increasing your metabolism turning you into a furnace. You stay leaner, eat more, gain more size, and stage off fat. Either way I normally don't eat sandwhiches or anything that has the carb's/proteins mixed together. Always eat something like 99% lean ground turkey with 2 tbs of almond butter mixed into it followed by my carbs (normally oats, oat bran, potatoes, rice, etc).

Does anyone feel that they have seen this work better for them than mixing or eating carbs first, that's the question? I have always ate like this since really training and dieting hard so I have nothing else to go by.

Ofcourse meat first since it would be the hardest thing to get down if your not hungry.

Oh really:) You say you crave meat?:p lol..jk.

Considering we all hit the gym hard and we all know what it takes to build or maintain muscle...I think it's going to be common that the first thing we all eat is the protein portion of our meal.

I really appreciate this thread. Until recently, I ate my carbs first. No reason why that I can think of. Just did.
 
In some cultures it appears to be non-optional. The courses are served in the age old order period. Can be frustrating at times when you are used to having everything available at once and choosing.
 
As long as you eat what you're supposed to macro wise, I don't really think it makes that much difference in which order you eat it... your body uses what it needs anyway... thinking you can fool it is, well... utopian. :)
 
Definitely protein first. Salads and main courses should be switched in the serving order!
 
Protein first..carbs last for me

You want to do exactly the opposite. You want the fastest digestion possible. Alot of pros dont drink cold beverages because it slows digestion. Drinking luke warm beverages is the best for speedy digestion. Protein first for fast digestion.
 
I got protein, then fat, then carbs if its presented like that.
