man, that place is something else... they want to keep the AAS talk to a minimum, and this i understand to some degree... but it seems to me that they are either completely ignorant or are living in a dreamworld when i comes to the "ironage era" as they call it and drug use. it seems to me that they want people to believe that the guys in the 60's, 70's, and 80's took maybe 2-3 dbols a day and a shot of deca a week [LOL], and are fond of pointing out how modern bbers a) look like shit b) take insane amounts of drugs and c) don't train as hard as the guys from the "ironage era".
now i'l agree that i don't like the look of some of the modern guys (guts), and i'll agree that lots of ergonomic aids are used these days... but those guys are nuts of they think the "ironage" guys weren't using heavy doses of anabolics to develop their physiques.
i guarantee that if gh, insulin, and igf were available back then those guys would have used them. guys today just have more options.
and when someone posts and obviously ill-informed remark about AAS, they delete the responses or lock the thread down, so the only posts in there are the inaccurate ones...
and the notion that guys today don't train as hard as guys did back then is nuts.
i don't know; i'm all for celebrating those days, but it just seems to me that most of the folks over there are (purposely) disconnected from reality.
and how ironic is it that the admin works for Weider, publisher of Flex???
i enjoy reading through the forum and looking at the old pics, i just wish folks would be more forthright and accepting of reality sometimes.
