Suppose you're on a cycle, eating 5000+ good calories a day in an appropriate split. Then you finish up and you start on your PCT. You probably keep calories just as high for another week due to the anabolics still clearing your system.

Now, at this point, you have three objectives - to minimize muscle loss, to return to natural hormonal levels, and to minimize fat gain. Once PCT is over, you'd like to remove some excess fat quickly and then continue with your natural bulking until your next assisted cycle. What is the best way to accomplish this as far as diet is concerned?
 
Maybe I should be more specific. How about:

Optimal time post cycle to keep calories as high as on cycle to "cement" gains?
Optimal time before going to a cut?

I've experimented a bit, from my first (horrible failed) cycle where I went into a cut immediately and lost all gains (I know, I know). To my most recent, where I kept calories high for one week and slowly tapered back over a few weeks (worked pretty well). I'm just looking for other opinions.
