thats why i buy if can in local, pasture raised animals slaughtered at a small family abattoir..

I did not see any facts/numbers showing what or how many more injuries etc. there would be with the new system. so it would be hard for me to say whether it would be that bad. I am guessing it would be. But I can't make a fair judgement without more info.

I do the same. Luckily I have 2 places near me that offer this. Yeah it's a little more pricey, but worth the piece of mind!

Very good point, returning customers are where the profits are at. Easy for me to say too,,,I don't eat much pork.
