power pushup III... is it any good?

hey guys. im wondering if anyone has used this thing. if it works decent it would be great for vacations. 3lb device that can give 260lb resistance + bodyweight.

Looks like the problem would be keeping the handles pinned to the ground during the press up, seems like they would want to sling shot backwards when you get into heavier resistance.

thats one of the problems i could see. also the pad feeling awkward or digging into your back, weird ergonomics, etc. i don't want to waste $40-50 on something that doesnt work. hopefully someone has used it and will post a review... seems like it would strengthen your core though. the pressure on your back would make you use back and abs to hold yourself straight.

Why not get yourself a few Jump Stretch bands instead? You can use them for the same movement as well as about 1,000 other things when you are traveling or even in your regular training.
