Promotion at the new job!

As some of you know. I took a major cut in pay doing manual labor to take a more stable job at....well.........Powerhouse Gym. I started entry level and it has turned out to be everything you guys told me it would be (even the pay scale). I have been at the bottom and bustn my ass off for these people and today the GM asked me to come and talk with her. I was thinking I was going to be let go for some reason because I was at the bottom of the rankings, but instead, I was givin a promotion to night manager. All this before I even get my first paycheck! They really like me and see that I have a good head on my shoulders. I LOVE the job and enjoy going in every day. I have to wait three months for my free membership, but I might ask for my free membership early as a condition of taking the job. The Gym is fantastic. Machines I have never SEEN before in all my previous memberships. I am the biggest guy I have yet to see so its definetly NOT hard core, but they have everything I want and need and more. Between the gym and the board...........I can go places I never DREAMED of as far as personal achievment.

Nosmas, do you get your own little name tag and all??? bahahaha j/k Congrads brother! Glad you like your job and it even comes with a free membership. (personally i would not push the issue of free membership(early) as a condition of you taking the night shift.) They like you as it is. Don't start to make demands until your secure in your new role with a few weeks behind you. Other then that Congrads again brother!
