Is there a certain percentage of your food that your body uses anabolically (not sure if this is a word) while on gear?
For example, if you consume 600 surplus calories per day in an attempt to gain as much lean mass as possible (figure all of it clean, no dirty bulking here). How much of that surplus can be assumed that will help repair and create more muscle tissue?
A mathematical example would be :
Maintenance Calories: 3000 calories
Bulk Calories while on Cycle: 3600 Calories
Surplus Calories per Week: 4200
Anabolic Efficiency: 75%
Amount of surplus calories that will become muscle: 600 x 75%=450
So 450 calories of the 600 surplus a week would go towards building muscle.
And if 1lb of LBM is approximately 2500 calories then you should be able to gain approximately .18lbs of LBM per day. And the other 250 calories would be stored as fat.
Obviously this is all hypothetically and looks great on paper but true LBM gain will be determined by amount of gear, genetics, macro intake and training. Just farting around with numbers and wanted to see what you guys thought.
