So here's how I look at it. Your fighter decides to make a major film. He's the first fighter in HISTORY to star in a major motion picture that isn't going to be a complete flop. If you don't believe me...
The A-Team (2010)
Liam Neeson and Jessica Biel are on the cast list. Ridley Scott is the producer for Christ's sake.
Wouldn't the logical step be to completely back him 100%? MMA people keep saying they want to be supported by the general public. They are taking on guys like Brock Lesnar, Kimbo Slice, Herschal Walker, Bobby Lashley, and so on... so that people in the main stream are drawn to the sport. Wouldn't Rampage, who's already an established MMA star, be the BEST POSSIBLE way to start bridging that gap?
Instead, Dana White openly mocked Rampage and now "he's quitting". We all know this is going to be another Couture situation where he'll come back somewhere in some aspect... but JESUS CHRIST!
Anybody else get what I'm saying?
