I agree. There is a real good chance that this is not the truth. All players should be aware of what is banned, and by playing that sport they agree to not use those substances.

Every time they do this the FDA has a knee jerk reaction and we loose the right to access a supp. They took away 6oxo cuz of BS like this. When are they gonna learn that the, "du I took a supplement" excuse does not work. You should know the banned list for your sport front and back.

I just learned today that you cant even use CAFFINE in college football. They can actually boot you off the damn team if your caffeine ratios are higher then normal. WTF??

My nephew plays for a very good college football team and he came over today and was drained after running his timed mile. I asked him why he was so tired i never seen him like that even after a full game. He explained that they can actually kick your ass off the team for failing a fucking caffeine test!

If you do a search on NCAA football banned substances it says that Vitamin water contains things that can fail them on a drug test... so it seems like Vitamin water it banned as well.

Ive got to agree here. The rules are getting to be stupid and do not make a whole lot of sense. Banning caffeine,lol! I would hope that there is some sort of threshold that is acceptable though. Perhaps its set up so that a guy can have a couple of cans of soda, but taking concentrated caffeine in pills would put him over the edge?

I think the caffeine thing went into place after Brian Bosworth wrote his tell all book and told about how he and other team mates would pop 8-12 vivarin (200mg of caffeine each) before kickoff, and then do it again after halftime. They were all lucky they didn't have heart attacks.

Yep. Yes, some of the pro athletes are at fault for taking supps on the banned substance list, however, IMO, the guys in charge are trying to make an example out of them and are going over the top to do so.

LOL. wow. Pseudoephedrine is a nasal decongestant. One of the very few that offers me relief from nasal allergies when they get bad. Ive never seen any stimulant effects from this and I cant see why anyone would take it for a performance boost. It wouldnt offer any.
