Another reason is that red meat contains more bcaas than any other type of protein. Almost forgot........red meat also contains a good amount of creatine in it as well.
Agreed, beef hardens me up far more than chicken, fish or whey. I try to get one or two lean fillets in my diet per day. I really notice a difference. It just feels like beef builds muscle better than anything else I eat.
I agree with the cholesterol, key word STEROL. Helps in hormone regulation. Along with ha Lean Beef Aminos a.k.a. LBAs. There's a high amount of creatine and red meats also. I'm not sure how high but higher than poultry I believe.
I love red meat.
I get very lean blocks of lean meat, at about about 89 yen per 100 grams. Slice it like bread and eat it up with garlic, onions and tomatoes (though *only* tomatoes if I will see people later hahaha).
The picture attached is about 4.5 kilos of beef and 1.2 kilos of pork.
thats the key right there GRASS FED BEEF the difference in nutrient profile is like day and night, any store bought feedlot beef is NOT healthy, cattle were never menat to live on grain. Just check the nutrient profiles and lipid profiles between the two if you don't beleive it.
how do you tell if the brand you buy is grass fed? i usually get my beef at sams club.
also, what cuts do you guys buy? i heard eye of round is the leanest, but when i researched this I found out this is the same a cube steak? i didnt think cube steaks were high quality meat?
I love me some rare steak. I run a keto diet pretty much year round and eat a nice big ribeye once or twice a day. Nothing like it at all! So delicious yet also so good for the body. I usually go to costco and thy have some GREAT deals on meat. Quality is pretty good, too.
I used to not eat beef. However the last to months I have just get mine grounded up by the butcher. Using with LBA's and my body looks totally different! I can't explain it!
