Currently taking in carb wise 1/3 cup oats meal 1, 1/2 cup brown rice meal 2, 4 oz yam meal 3. 16 days out from my show but i think I am a tad behind track. Would a refeed be necessary?
your info is entirely meaningless. activity level and how you feel are the cues...neither of which do any of us know...if you are running out of juice and maybe feeling lethargic, the answer to a refeed is probably yes. I've never been a big fan of cutting carbs too much, I work a very physically demanding job and I train high volume. the diet has to provide enough to power workouts, if not, the diet sucks
as u get leaner and closer to show, the body needs the refeeds. there is less fat to tap into for energy, so glycogen is used even more, that needs to be replenished.
