Ricky Hatton Vs Floyd Mayweather

Which way do you fellas think this is going to go? I dont usually gamble but I have been to the bookies today and put my money on Hatton to win on points, just to spice things up a bit (not as if this fight it needs it). Hatton is looking sharp and Mayweather dosent look like he is taking this fight seriously enough. Hatton is going to exploit him through sheer work rate.

This is going to be a classic, I cant wait to see it!!!

Mayweather, he is the best there is now. When I watch him fight at his best, i understand why boxing is called 'The Sweet Science." Is attitude pisses me off though. Hatton got a puncher's chance. Just my 2cents.

its gonna be hard for him to do that cuz Hatton only moves forward...And Hatton is strong...He gets heavy in between fights then squeezes down to make weight...Hatton is quick fuker himself too...

this is potentially the fight of the year, I have backed Hatton to win outright, got exactly 2 to 1, I think they are amazing odds considering his punching power, I have booked my place at the big screening at my local casino who are open at 3am next week with 8 guys watching it with me who are huge boxing fans, can't wait

Hatton sucks at this weight! He didn't beat luis callazo and he knew it. Thats why he immediately moved back down. Hatton will get beat badly Floyd is going to stand in and beat him to death like he did arturo gatti. You can bet on that!

It never happened before so it never coincided with anything. And he made sure it never happened again. He is a natural light welterweight and there he is tough. At weightweight he wont be able to beat any of the top seven. Mayweather, Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Cintron, Mosley, and Berto.

mayweather will wake up with sore ribs and a bruised ego! Hatton will put him down, he will not ease up the whole fight. Constant pressure and cripling body shots will see him through

I think gayweather will start well and get the first couple of rounds till ricky settles down and get into his rythm, the body shots will slow gayweather down enough for ricky to really hurt him in 6 or 7 and i think win by ko or stoppage before round 10

HENDOSMOKE said it the best. Hatton can make some money by fighting Mayweather, but the reality is he would be hard pressed to beat any of those seven that Hendo mentioned. That's what makes fighting interesting, kinda like bodybuilding, A NAME can get you some good fights and pay days with the number one contender, but the fact is all the guys behind that contender would also whoop that NAME competitors ass!!! (if they had the oppurtunity)

Everybody has there own opinion on this which is cool, the only one of those top welter weights that will probably beat Hatton is Cotto, that is a dangerous fight and if Hatton wins against mayweather his promotional team will probably be avioding that one like the plague.

I dont think Hatton is invincible I just think he has Mayweathers number!
