Do you believe aspirin prevents plaque build up in the arteries? This seems like decent advice for MOST people. But serious bodybuilders have been known to use PEDS and those PEDS have been known to cause plaque build up in the arteries. Since HEART DISEASE is the #1 killer of American men, it is my opinion that the benefits of preventing a heart attack outweigh the possibilities of bleeding out due to an accident, aneurism, or other bleeding disorder. I choose to combat heart disease as that is significantly more likely to kill me than bleeding out.

No but I do believe it prevents heart attacks via the following mechanism: Aspirin slows the blood's clotting action by reducing the clumping of platelets. Platelets are cells that clump together and help to form blood clots. Aspirin keeps platelets from clumping together, thus helping to prevent or reduce blood clots. Most heart attacks and strokes are caused by blood clots.Do you believe aspirin prevents plaque build up in the arteries?
