Has anyone checked out the "front page" of SI's webpage today? They are releasing portions of the book "The Truth, Barry Bonds and steroids". If this proves to be true...wow. They say he started using in 1998 and used such items as slin, gh, winny, test, tren and some others.

Prove it.....It is the RULES of baseball...Many of us don't agree with that rule but if you can't prove it then what is he doing to get expelled and banned from baseball for? Where is the hard evidence?

look, if people are out to hang bonds then they better wipe out all of mcgwires, sosa's, delgado's...all these guys stats. they used when it was legal and in you forgot, baseball was dead after the '94 strike until the mcgwire/sosa chase on maris. all these ridiculous do-gooders out there saying he cheated, IT WAS LEGAL! and not to mention we still do not have a positive urine test. keep kickin ass bonds, and go take aaron's crown

Actually, that's not true.

Barry Bonds could easily sue them if what they are saying is false. He'd be entitled to BOATLOADS of monetary damages. The fact that he's said and done nothing means one thing: It's true.

Pete Rose admitted that he gambled - http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1703911 - so there's no connection here.

Bonds continues to deny taking steroids, and here's a tell all about him and he says and does nothing. Translation? MY NUGGA JUICES!

And they would leave him alone: if he didn't lie about it. It's going to come out that he did it and just like Pete Rose he's going to say the same thing: "I should have said this sooner" and then noone will care because it's too late.

Bonds has always been a prick - right from when he came up with the Pirates. But when he went to San Francisco he stepped up his niceness for a year, and then back to Prick-boy.

If Bonds wasn't such a low-life to the press during his earlier years, maybe this wouldn't be coming back to bite him in the ass now.

I'm not a Bonds fan but leave the guy alone already . Fact is, baseball didn't ban performance enhancing drugs until AFTER the 2002 season. He didn't violate any MLB rules. This is just a couple of guys, that probably never played the game, looking to make some $$$ over old news.
