Strongest NPC/NQ show in this country ?

What NPC show do you think brings out the best quility of competor's out ? Im not saying numbers but the highest level of competion, for a non-national level show ?

Southern States in Florida
Atlantic States in New York
The Los Angeles in Cali
The Cal in Cali
Tournament of Champions in Cali
Muscle Mayhem in Kansas City (had to get one Midwest show in there...LOL)
Eastern States in New York

or a different show

any show is only good as the competitors that show up on THAT day! i have seen small shows like the caveman classic have better comp than say jr. nationals. I don't beleive this or that show to be all that, but if i had to pick one then it would be the arnold amature due to the caliber of guys that come from overseas to compete. Eduardo would have crushed anyone from any of the shows that chris250 listed above the year he competed and so would have Tarek so yea i say the arnold amature is the show to do if you want some good competition

The Northern Kentucky was a tough show this year. If you look at that class winners, they were all very tough competitors.

I have to agree with this because of the international guys & add southern states in the mix.

The Muscle Mayhem this year had a great turnout and some very good competitors, but I would agree with B-Boy, the Caveman Classic brought some very competition several years back.

The Excalibur used to be called the NPC Iron Man.. held in Los Angeles. But the Arnold amateur has only been around a short time and is huge with great quality.

The Excalibur has some big classes bigger than some of the pro qualifiers..

Last years show had over 240 competitors. Without a single pro card given out.. this is pretty huge.. now with bikini in the mix, there will be about 50 more girls in the show.

The numbers of competitors and quality is unreal for a national qualifier.
Being that its 2 weeks after the nationals and the last show of the year ( first week in December) draws a huge huge turnout..

You dont have to be a US resident to compete at the Excalibur

The show draws in some great foreign competitors too..

and lots of guys come out to to make a name for themselves.. guys like Trey Brewer.

The LA championships is just as big and is often a warm up for USA competitors being that its one week out.

hey bboy check out Eduardo Correa crushing the middleweight class at the Excalibur in 04..

He got his start here at the Excalibur, I knew this guy would be more than just good..

A lot of those guys have already won pro cards in their own countries or at the World Amateurs. I doubt we'll see many Americans winning weight classes at that show in the future.
