I kind of thought pec too....but I don't usually see that much blood that far down into the forearm from mpec tears

It’s a partial tear of the triceps. I can tell it’s not full because certain ROM’s have some strength. It’s torn near the long head, near the elbow.

It was a total accident. I can’t even say “I did it rolling” because that’s not true in the traditional sense. You’d imagine some high intensity battling and scrambling. Nope. A fat blue belt was trying for a half assed arm bar. He was too out of shape to position himself correctly, so his leg pushed my wrist to my chest, while my elbow was reaching up. The extreme stretch in an awkward spot did it.

MRI on Monday (first available).

Been using 500mcg BPC @ 3-5x/day. If I’m home long enough, I stick it more.

Fuck Dave. Sorry to see that man. Easier said than done, but keep a positive attitude. Speedy recovery!

Damn man...what a bummer. That seems to always be the case when a guy tears something though is some freak accident. Like when Branch slipped on the stairs and grabbed the rail and tore his triceps

BPC 3-4x/day @ 500mcg/shot

Well I have to say it looks like the bpc and gh did you some good. Its not nearly as bruised or discolored as I would have expected

I showed it to a family doctor I know. Asked him “how long would you expect to see bruising after something like this?” He said about 3-4 weeks.

His eyes went wide when he saw this.

Dave - do you really find that BPC has helped overall with recovery/pain?

If so, how and where are you injecting that many times a day?

thanks in advance.

It’s massively helpful.

I’m on a BPC-TB-GH-MK regimen now. I whole heartedly believe my recovery will be WAY faster with everything involved.

I did the same thing but with the 150's on flat bench, it was the first push to the top and it was a loud pop, they said partial tear but it didn't bruise near as bad as yours, it still has a knot down by the elbow and the short triceps head is rolled up still. I had a chiro do a tens unit with a ultrasound machine on it and it got the swelling all out and they worked the knot down a lot. I can do dumbbell presses again but I still can't fully lock out my elbow.

It was fantastic to have you drop in on this week's muscle minds.

Wish you and Lats would drop by more often.

Hope the recovery is going well; keeping busy is key like you said.

Given your history of injuries; would you go back and change anything about your training style? DC training and progressive overload gave you that physique, but it's a balancing scale sometimes with injuries it seems, even if it's small nagging ones. We can't really get a free lunch unless we have Mike O Hearn tendon integrity.
