syntheselen/ sub Q= big lump

used insulin pin sub q in abdomen, 1 ml, now i have this big welt lump which looks like a 7th ab muscle, and it is kinda sore, how long does it take to dissapate? did i do something wrong?

I get the same thing or bruises with syntheselen sub-q in ab area. Now synthergine in same area doesn't bother me. I just do it IM and no probs. It can take a while for them to go away but don't worry - they will go away.

It will go away, but not for awhile. What I've noticed for sub-q on abs, you can't do more than 1cc and sometimes that's pushing it, and you should inject really slow. But bumps and bruises are common with these shots.
