Tanning Tablets... what are they called again??

Hey all,

I remember there were these pills I used to get back in the day that helped you get dark. You still had to go tanning or whatever, but they amplified it a lot and cut down on the amount of time you needed to spend in the sun..

1. anyone remember there or know what they are called?
2. any liquid research joints carry this?

You're probably talking about trisoralen. Not sure if I spelled it right. I think there's also a name brand Methoxsalen.

You will still need UV exposure to tan, just less. Methoxsalen (Oxsoralen) and trioxsalen (Trisoralen) are photosensitizing agents that makes your skin, and your eyes, more sensitive to UV exposure; so you tan more with less exposure.

To tan without UV exposure, you can use melanotan. Melanotan II is a modified version of the peptide that causes an increase of melanin in response to UV exposure. Taking melanotan with cause your body to tan without the sun.

From my experience you will still need some sun exposure while taking melanotan II. How much - depends on your skin type, but the only time i used it, I only needed to use the sunbed 4 times approx 10 minutes each to see absolutely dramatic changes. Im probably type II, so it was very very effective.(My face especially got extremely dark all over, like a Mexican ). Id suggest melanotan over oxsoralen any day, its much safer, you will not burn (there were some NASTY burns in oxsoralen users, some required hospitalization), and you will tan relatively uniformly (meaning no white armpits for example). And i only used 2 bottles of 10 mg of mtII (paid about 60 usd for both).
For the record i got mine from Purui (one of board sponsors), so i can vouch that its very effective.

How long is it effective for? Do you start slowly going back to how you looked before, or with regular tanning do you keep a better overall tan than before?

The majority subsides about after a month when you stop taking, however its been about 2 months now and im still a lot darker than i was before. (before taking mII that is), i dont use any tanning beds either. I suspect if i tanned regularly after stopping, I could maintain the color for a lot lot longer.

Sub Q, just like HGH.
Dosing would be about 1-2 mg/day for a 220 lb guy, theres a loading stage where you take it ED, for about a week to 10 days, after which you can just maintain the effect by doing a 2 mg shot about twice weekly.
About the freckles/sunspots it could darken them, always a possibility. I didnt see any of that, but some guys prone to it, might see it. I noticed darkening of facial hair, but it disappeared after stopping the mII.
While trying it for the first time, theres a little nausea, and lack of appetite. Those effects can be avoided by taking the mII before sleep or reducing the dose. I heard someone claiming that taking benadryl also got rid of all those effects - i dont know, didnt try it.

Several of my existing freckles darkened, and I develop some new dark one. I am now taking 0.02mg / kg daily, injecting it SubQ in the evening before bed. I started at 0.005mg / kg and worked my way up.

I also used melanotan 2. it works great but it can make you very dark. you will need some UV to get it working. their is a web sight selling this stuff in the US and ships domestic and is cheaper then i have seen from other sources. if you would like the web sight send me a PM

I didnt try the melanotan due to the freckle and "age spot" issues ive read from users ,I suppose the sun might do the same thing over time.
