Thick blood

Double reds are brutal. Never again, killed my endurance for months.

Ferrous sulfate is an iron sulfate salt. It's cheap and the go-to for iron supplementation. Avoid calcium and add vitamin C for increased absorption. It's the iron given to most people for anemia and found in cereals, fortified foods.

Iron biglycinate has higher bioavailability and much easier on the stomach.

Does biglycinate raise ferritin just as quickly? I don't get stomach issues on the sulfate but that doesn't mean it might not be doing undesirable things to my gut health.

With higher bioavailability it would be assumed.

"Ferrous" is just a fancy word for iron.

Ferrous sulfate is iron sulfate.

Iron biglycinate is iron chelate. Iron+Glycine (amino acid)

Nothuman, You still feeling fatigued?

"Fatigued" is the wrong word since it is more like a brain haze where I could barely function.

But no not as of late every since I started taking T3/T4! I think I was just really hypothyroid (FT was in the high 2's and RT3 was off the charts high)

Thanks for asking. Hopefully I never have to feel that shitty again.

Glad to hear. I know that was a rough time. I know this is different but I battled bad vertigo. It was terrible.

Looking back, how was your ability to maintain BF% during this, if any issue at all?
I've read that you travel quite a bit. Was this affecting you back then or has this been more acute?

It’s night and day how much better I feel since I began thyroid hormones. Like, it’s amazing man

I got vertigo symptoms once from taking too much Nebivolol and it was scary so I know that feeling

Zero effect on bf% that I could notice believe it or not.

Yea man I travel a decent amount. I got lucky the most recent time I spent a month in Europe where the symptoms weren’t as bad but they snuck back up towards the end. But it would definitely take a crap on travel sometimes but i force myself to fight through it. Honestly one of the worst parts was not knowing why it was happening.

U and i had spoken about this, wasnt the thyroid something we discussed as a possibility?

Damn man glad ur getting it figured out.... Mine very well could have been a thyroid issue as well as having a crystal that dislodged in my inner ear....

I had considered hypothyroidism but due to the fact my symptom was weird and I only had one, it was pretty hard to tell. I also tried NDT last year and it didn't do anything. T3 and T4 separately is so much better.
