So I have to eat 5 of my 6 meals at work. I don’t get breaks, usually standing up scarfing down chicken fast as I can and chugging green beans out of the can. I want to cut it down to 4 meals on work days so instead of 6 50g protein meals I was thinking 4 meals of 50g meat protein +25g casein.

I can’t do whey shakes...they fuck with my BG and I get hangry and feel like shit.

So like

0830: 75g protein
1230:75g protein
1630: 75g protein
2030: 75g protein

There will me carbs/fats too lol just saying 4 large meals

Lol I guess there wasn’t a question in there.

Do any of you have digestion issues eating meals that large?

I get my lunch down in about 5 minutes at work which is 8oz extra lean ground turkey breast and 2 cups of rice. It has ketchup, mustard, and shiracha hot sauce which makes it easy to get down fast.
My other meals are shakes.

Ive heard several "experts" in the bodybuilding realm talk about better nutrient uptake and IGF numbers when eating less frequent and more nutritious meals as compared to eating 24/7.

I cant see any issues with downing lager meals. As long as its real food your consuming, you will digest it sooner or later...
Shakes on the other hand, I dont know for sure, but folks always say you cant absorb more than 50ish grams of protein at once..

JJ you make a good point. I can eat cold tilipia or ground turkey pretty damn fast, but knawing on a cold chewy chicken breast isn’t worth it and tires out my jaw.

Are you competing for contest? If not i wouldnt complicate things too much
I used to be right on percice with my meals , sleep , everything
The older i got the more of a hassle ot got to be
Took the fun out of training amd growing.now if i feel like eating 4 meals i do.if i feel like fasting and eating 1 meal i do.but if your competing its a lil different.i used to wake up 1 or 2 times a night and eat.then just eat 2 times at work

No not competing, but I’m trying to be the biggest swollest scariest dad at the swimming party. I mean that’s pretty damn close.

Digestion issues with meals that large? Shit, my refeeds sometimes hit 7500cal in a meal lol those things are snacks.

Whether someone else has digestion issues though doesn't matter. It's about whether you have digestion issues...so try it and find out! Or do intermittent fasting and make life easy

I always take a bunch of hard boiled eggs with me to work for when I get a minute here or there. I might get 15 minutes for lunch which makes for pretty fast eating, but always down a digestive enzyme to help
U bring hard boiled eggs to work?

Cottage cheese with rice and some fruit can come in handy when don't want to chew your protein. Maybe not long term but just to give yourself a break

either get the butcher to grind all your meat, buy it ground, or get a grinder. its so much easier eating ground meat, save the chewing, and u can mix it easily with whatever carbs yr eating. plus it makes for tastier eating, like comfort food but healthier.
i wont even eat red meat unless its ground.
well, steak if its at a restaurant but at home its cheap meat ground.
unless its pot roast.
pot roast....mmmmmmmm.
