Im going in for a sleep study, finally. Doctor told me I needed one 8 years ago, but I should wait to have the surgery to fix my deviated septum in case I broke my nose again.
Now is the time. BTW im fit and 195 lbs, Ive had sleep problems my whole life, the nose doesn't help it though
Just wondering, how resolving your guys issues changed your quality of life? What can I expect. Im going in expecting Ill need to fix my nose and have those plastic things put in my throat.
A few times a week I consciously wake my self up gasping for air, sometimes 5,6,7 times in a row. My girl tells me I stop breathing fairly often, and I snore like crazy. Super dry mouth, etc. I generally feel tired
Im looking foward to resolving this, a little nervous about surgeries though. As I get closer I cant help but wonder how this will make me feel, or change my life. The Dr. said after I heal Ill slept like I never slept before. Ill wake up feeling like a normal person and finally have a understanding of just how tired i really was.
Just hoping to get some insight with those who have had similar problems.
