TRT/ HRT when would you add Nolvadex?

As you guys know I am on HRT and this is what Im on.....

200mg test cyp every week
4iu GH per day
250 IU HCG every other day

So far I am feeling great. I am back to normal mentaly and physicaly,sex drive is back, life is good, training is awesome and as I posted in another thread I am now over 250lbs again.

I have a script for Nolvadex and my doc told me to take it if I need it, but the script says 20mg a day. In the past I almost never did Nolva during cycles, but now Im thinking I should. I do not have gyno from the HRT but I definetly am still carrying alittle extra fat and water, could be estrogen.

Anyway, should i leave things the way they are or would say 10mg of Nolva per day make sense? And with such a small dose of test every week is it really neccesary?

10-20mg a day should be fine especially for water retention.

To be honest, if you are hrt for ever and ever unless you get any sides from the test there is really no need for nolva. Like your doc said, in case you need it. I don't think you will.

I wouldn't even use it.

Pick up some Proviron if anything.

I would suggest the Arimidex over the Nolvadex. You could try another AI like Letrozole or Aromasin.

Great info man. I knew Letrozole increased IGF1 but I had no idea that Arimidex lowered IGF-1 levels like that.

Aromasin seems to be the one that causes the fewest problems. A friend of mine is on HRT and he takes 25mg aromasin/day. I think his HRT dose is 400mg cyp/wk and like 2iu GH/day 5 days/wk.

I am personally on HRT, 200 mg/cyp. per week. I do not use HCG at all, neither do I use any prescription strength anti-estrogens of aromatase inhibitors. I do take 300 mg/day of DIM and I also recommend you purchase Lypopene for your prostate gland....I take 30 mg/day of Lypopene. I have tried Gaspari's Nolvadex XT before and it did increase my libido but I do know that Dave Palumbo recommends this product for those without a prescription.

- 25 mg Aromasin / day
- 1.2 mg (3.6 iu) Genotropin / Monday through Saturday
- 3333 iu HCG Wednesdays and Sundays

My base T is about 1500 now (up from 32) and my igf is slightly out of the normal range. My Estradiol is a teensy bit high, and everything else is nicely in line.

And then I tore a pec.

After 10 years of abuse with impunity, I get injured when I get the shit legally. Go figure.

How you guys geeting GH prescribed for HRT. My doc will only prescribe test even thogh my GH levels are low. This sucks. I want 2iu GH ED.

Doesnt it only decrease natural IGF levels. If he is on 4ius GH, it woudlnt effect them right?

I can't tell you for sure, but it has to be giving some type of negative effect by decreasing any type of IGF-1. If you could I would just ask for PRN of aromisin instead of nolva so you get the added bennifit of increased igf-1 and antiestrogen.
