My regular doctor was off, so I scheduled my appointment with another young doctor in this clinic. I could tell that I had him very uncomfortable when I was describing my situation. He thought it to be VERY unusual that if it were an infection that it would at least hurt somewhat, be swollen or have redness/warm to the touch. He did ask me if my arm was swollen or if it was always like that
He refered me to someone who was more versed in working with "bodybuilding-type" injuries - an orthopedist. This doc seemed to think it was an abcess, fluid formed around some irritant.
He had me take some soft tissue x-rays and I have then in my possession. I'm taking them with me to the orthopod's this Monday. They seem to look OK to me - nothing glaring stands out. I just pulled them out and looked at then
