With all the deaths and everything I was sat thinking how screwed up the last fortnight has been.
I went out to a club last night and a mate asked me if I had been to see a guy I had grown up with (since the age of 7 ) but we stopped talking about 3 years ago over a disagreement.
I asked her why the hell would I see him, and she replied "he's got an inoperable brain tumour and has been in hospital for the last month. just been released but they dont know whats going to happen"
Jesus christ, life is so fragile. I grew up with this guy as my opposite number. we did everything together. Played for the same Soccer team for years, knocked about after school, both got kicked out of home at the same time lol. lived together for a couple of years.
its real strange to think something like that could happen.
If you had knowledge of this coming to you, what would you do differently in your life?
