i ask because im coming back from a partiallyu torn quad..i went in today with my work boots and didnt go heavy but felt great..almost like i was locked in like I was snowboarding..anyone else wear boots too?

i just take off my shoes and squat in my socks

boots not bad, as long as you tie nice and tight

i like adidas olympic lifting shoes,,,i have flat feet so doing so with barefeet will probably bad for my poor genetics ahhaha

I think any shoe that is flat is ok. I dont think running shoes or shoes with an elevated heel are good.

I like Adidas superstar or Adidas Campus or Adidas Gazelle.

Yup, nothing but socks for me. I should get some good shoes but fug it.

reebok re-zig! amazing shoes

Chuck Taylor CONVERSE. Flat with ankle support. 25 years. Buy a pair a year. Best by far. Second choice OTOMIX power trainer. Same but look nicer leather etc.

Vibrim five fingers. Like being barefoot but with excellent traction. I highly recomend trying them.

I use 3 different kinds which are my old addidas goodyears, my CAT workboots, and in just my socks. I'd say my favorite right now is in socks but boots are a close second.

WHAT!?!?!

are you serious man!?!
i didn't take you for a barefoot squatter.

I know I want some of those bad.

Everyone that has tried the five fings love em but don't order on line..you have to try the fuckers on. I waited until I could get my hands on them to try on and there is no way..like no way...my toes would go in there so couldn't get em. Was like a wounded kid at Xmas..

LOL thanks for the heads up man

An old pair of Chuck Taylors here, Its what I use in the gym.

I need to get some of these. They look weird as hell but comfortable.

untill ya drop a weight on your foot. They good for running I suppose. Mixed response from serious runners. Also zero ankle support which can be argued either way. And yes- they are fugly.

Socks! Barefoot allows the foot to collapse properly during a deep squat, which leads to proper knee tracking. A chiropractor explained it to me in detail and it made sense.
